Missed a Spot: Sprucing Up the Road for Queen’s Jubilee

Victoria Road residents pitched in to repaint one of the road sings before the Queen’s Jubilee and the neighborhood’s Seven Roads Party. Many thanks to Jonathan for the paint job, and to Sally for supervising. We are sure that this is only one of many indirect benefits of the celebrations.

  1. So… the black lacquer is done, and now it’s time to paint the white letters! Does anyone have a small amount of exterior-grade high gloss white paint (yacht enamel, maybe) that we could scrounge, as I forgot to get some? Meanwhile we have an achingly cool post-industrial all-black “stealth” street sign…

Note, folks, that there’s no exclusivity about this, and anyone who has a steady hand and a small paintbrush can finish the job!

Thanks, John — great work. I look through my paint cans.
