Summertown Wild Swimmers

If anyone has read Roger Deakin’s Waterlog or saw last night’s BBC4 programme on Wild Swimming you will understand what this is all about.  I have always enjoyed wild swimming – in rivers, lakes, lochs, tidal pools etc – and would be interested to join with others on expeditions locally and further afield.  A good starting point is the Isis from Port Meadow, just beyond where the path to The Perch branches off the western bank.  The other day it was glorious with cattle and horses gathered in the water on the opposite bank and birds of all kinds around.  Let me know if you are interested: paul@my-lewis.co.uk
