Please find the following offence update;
News Message 1.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of attempting to take a vehicle without the owner’s consent on Saturday (17/7).
The men, aged 20 and 18, were arrested after officers were called to reports of a car being broken into in Barns Road, Cowley, shortly before 1am.
Officers arrested the men nearby after they matched the description of the men seen allegedly trying to steal the car.
Both men have now been bailed to return to St Aldates police station on 31st August.

News Message 2.
A 28-year-old man has been charged with one count of burglary dwelling and one count of burglary non-dwelling.
Andrew Lennon, aged 28, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday (17/7) in connection with the two incidents that both occurred last Tuesday (13/7).
Lennon is alleged to have carried out a burglary to a student’s room in Lincoln College in Turl Street, and stolen a laptop.
He is also alleged to have stolen a bicycle from an underground car park at the Zoology Department of the University of Oxford in South Parks Road.
Lennon was remanded to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today 19th July.
