THAMES VALLEY COMMUNITY MESSAGING – Oxford – B08/03/10


A 24 year old man from East Oxford has been arrested on suspicion of rape in connection with an incident in Oxford in the early hours of Tuesday 16 March.
The victim was walking along St. Clement’s Street in the early hours of the morning, when she was grabbed by a man, taken to nearby St. Clement’s Church graveyard and attacked. She was then taken to a property somewhere in East Oxford and raped.
The man remains in police custody at a police station in Oxford.
Police are still keen to speak to anyone with any information about the incident or who were in the area at the time.
